You should find that our shopping cart is once again functional. We deeply apologize for this regrettable outage. I wish there was more we could have done from here but as this service is not our own we were at the mercy of Cartloom staff to get the system back up and running.
Last evening the lines to Cartloom’s data center were downed in hurricane Sandy, leaving Cartloom in the dark along with scores of other sites and services hosted at the same data center. As of sometime today Cartloom took action to get their service back online and within the last hour full service to Cartloom was restored.
As a sidebar, clearly the effects of hurricane Sandy will be far reaching and felt for many months to come. Millions have been left without power and transit, as vast swaths of New York remain submerged under water. Our thoughts are with those who’ve been left without power, homes and places of work. May your efforts to rebuild be swift.
